When it comes to real estate, Pete Tafaro takes a quality-first approach. This applies to how he interacts with clients, how he handles transactions, and how he and his partner manage the brokerage.  Pete and his co-founder, Everett, set out to create an exclusive brokerage and work with only the best agents in New Orleans. The result has been unmatched consistency and professionalism across the board. As Pete puts it, “If you throw a dart at the Athena agent roster, you will hit a bull’s-eye every time.”

A lifelong resident of New Orleans, Pete grew up in Metairie and attended Archbishop Rummel High School. He went on to attend the University of New Orleans before earning his JD at the Loyola School of Law. His local expertise has helped him to navigate tricky commercial and residential transactions throughout the greater New Orleans area.

After practicing law for almost two decades, his legal experience gives him an edge in negotiations, and his understanding of real estate law has proven invaluable to both his clients and the Athena team.

Pete lives in Lakeview with his wife, Lauren, and their two kids, Connor and Cameron. When he’s not handling real estate obligations, you can find him coaching his daughter’s cabbageball team or at the Saints game.
